Gurmukh has been addicted to adventure and all that is creative from an early age, through boarding school in India, architecture school in Arizona, skateboarding through the streets of Barcelona, and graduate school at the Southern California Institute of Architecture [sciARC].
His work draws from his life experiences, which provide a constant source of inspiration to explore the seemingly untapped intersections between reality and imagination. As an architectural designer, Gurmukh discovered his true passion in digital art and design.
A self-taught digital artist, his unique method and distinct aesthetic draws from his background in architecture. Using Maya and other 3D modeling systems, Gurmukh examines new ways to merge traditional and contemporary digital art techniques to create surreal and often un-earthly environments, architecture, vehicles, and props.
A self-proclaimed "eternal student," Gurmukh sees great potential in the future of digital art and design. He hopes his undying curiosity and enthusiasm to seek what lies beyond the bounds of his current expertise will ensure that he gets an opportunity to play a significant role in the realm of digital art and design.
