ABOUT THE ARTIST

 

 

PAUL WIDELSKI

Paul is a Senior Character Artist currently working at Splash Damage on Gears Tactics.
He has been working as an artist in games for the past 4 years, covering all aspects of 3D Art.
He started as an Asset Artist making weapons, then moved onto vehicles and environment assets before finally becoming a character artist.

ABOUT THE CLASS

 

 

CREATING ARMOR, FROM CONCEPT TO HIGH POLY

 

In this class, Paul Widelski will walk you through a specific stage of character creation.
Paul will:
• Begin with a basic sculpt in ZBrush of armour pieces, based on reference.
• Talk you through what he looks for during the process.
• Help you understand how far to develop a concept before starting the high poly.
• Create the high poly model in 3ds Max.
• Finalize the model in ZBrush.
